DNA Challenge: I’m Legitimate, Full Blooded Njemanze –Charles

…Says: Alexius Anumaku wedded Paulina Atim, legally

In an article published by Nigeria Newspoint, dated November 4, 2022, certain members of the Njemanze Royal Family of Amawom village, in Owerri Municipal stated that my mother, late Ugoeze Paulina Atim Njemanze was a concubine to my late father, Eze Alexius Anumaku Njemanze (Igwe Ozuruigbo IV of Owerri). They further claimed that I was an adopted child of my late father. Their assertions are misleading, mendacious, and grossly repugnant.

For informative purposes, my late mother was never a concubine of my late father. Eze Alexius Anumaku Njemanze married my mother, Ugoeze Paulina Atim Njemanze, on April 13, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. I have decided to include the wedding photograph of my parents in this article to serve as proof that they were indeed married.

It is rather unfortunate that certain members within the Njemanze Royal family appended their signatures to blatant lies in their advert. I would like to draw attention to the fact that some of those who signed unto this falsehood, are not Njemanze family members in the bloodline.

I recently conducted a DNA test, which showed shared paternal ancestry to relatives from other branches within the Njemanze family. In the proverbial “pot calling the kettle black”, those who are not themselves Njemanzes in the bloodline, are the ones parading this falsehood about me. I will be taking them to court to clear my good name and to seek compensatory damages for their defamation.

The ‘gold standard’ to ascertain paternity and ancestry is through DNA testing. To settle this matter once and for all about who is and isn’t an Njemanze in the bloodline, I will be seeking to obtain a court ordered DNA test to compel all signatories to that falsehood who claim that I am not an Njemanze, to likewise prove that they are. When the results of the DNA test are revealed, we will then compare notes to know who is and who isn’t an Njemanze.
